Regional Controller Position Summary As the Regional Controller, you will be at the forefront of financial decision-making, ensuring adherence to policies, regulations, and internal controls. Your expertise will be vital in overseeing audits, implementing SOX compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. With your guidance, your global accounting team will excel in delivering timely and accurate reporting, while minimizing risks. What you get to do as the Regional Controller: Establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Drive compliance with Regal accounting policies, US GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements. Standardize and monitor SOX compliance, mitigating risks throughout the organization. Lead and develop the global Industrial accounting teams, ensuring accurate reporting and timely close processes. Spearhead continuous process improvements in accounting and compliance practices. Manage general accounting functions, including the preparation of reports and financial results. Own and maintain accounting schedules, ensuring compliance and SOX adherence. Conduct detailed balance sheet and SOX benchmark controls reviews, driving process improvements. Establish processes and controls for statutory regulations and corporate accounting standards. Collaborate with strategic BU leaders to standardize accounting and compliance practices. Implement changes in accounting practices, policies, and compliance regulations. Oversee internal and external audits, addressing findings and driving process improvements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attend workshops, and participate in professional societies. Safeguard financial information and maintain strict confidentiality. Contribute to the success of the global segment team through collaborative efforts. Attributes you bring to the Regional Controller opportunity: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred. Minimum 8+ years of experience in Industrial or Global Manufacturing Organizations. Accounting Certification REQUIRED (e.g., CPA, ACA).
