Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead. Prepare detailed cost reports, profitability analysis, and margin analysis for products and production lines. Support month-end and year-end close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, GAAP, and inventory valuation methods. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or process improvement methodologies. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced SQL for data analysis. Previous involvement in ERP system implementations or upgrades. Familiarity with project costing or job order costing in a complex manufacturing environment.
