Job Description:
Marathon Petroleum Corporation, the largest refiner in the US,
is seeking a dedicated Transport Driver to join our logistics team.
Based in Findlay, Ohio, this role is crucial in ensuring the safe
and efficient transportation of our petroleum products. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for operating Marathon’s fleet of
vehicles, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards while
supporting our commitment to providing secure and reliable energy
solutions. Safely operate and maintain transport vehicles with a
focus on adherence to company and regulatory policies. Monitor and
manage the loading and unloading of petroleum products to ensure
they are handled correctly. Perform routine vehicle inspections and
maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Document
transport logs and other compliance-related reports accurately and
timely. Communicate effectively with team members and dispatchers
to update on progress and any issues. Ensure compliance with
health, safety, and environmental regulations. Participate in
safety meetings and training sessions organized by the company.
Proficiency in operating sophisticated transport machinery and
systems. Strong understanding of compliance and safety regulations
in the oil and gas industry. Excellent navigation and emergency
response skills. Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision. Good physical condition and stamina suited for
handling heavy tasks and long hours. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License
(CDL) with Hazmat endorsement. Clean driving record. DOT Medical
Card. Additional certifications in safety training and hazardous
material handling are a plus.
