Won't you join us?Job OverviewFXI is looking for a talented
Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and improve manufacturing
processes. The manufacturing engineer's responsibilities include
identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of
manufacturing and product quality thru lean manufacturing processes
and support of the quality system in accordance with ISO and
quality regulatory standards.To be successful as a Manufacturing
Engineer you should be able to work effectively within a team and
have a high level of technical expertise. An outstanding
Manufacturing Engineer will ensure our production lines work
efficiently and effectively to satisfy safety and production needs.
Responsibilities
- Leads and deploys best practices in the manufacturing
organization by leading continuous improvement in various
manufacturing processes
- Leads, facilitates, executes, and manages projects to reduce
costs significantly by implementing Lean Principles and/or Six
Sigma tools and methodologies
- Conducts value stream analysis to identify prioritized waste
reduction opportunities and design solutions. Influences
implementation
- Develop methods to reduce cost without compromising the Safety
or Quality standards. Continuously seeks to improve Safety,
Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Assists or leads in root cause analysis for inefficiencies and
failures; makes and assists in implementing relevant changes
- Supports maintenance and engineering activities as well as
operational needs
- Develops effective working relationships with relevant staff to
achieve results
- Can scope, charter, and lead kaizen events
- Uses Operator Line Balance tool to identify waste, measure
current state efficiency and design the future state
- Understands and can develop value stream metrics to measure
efficiency, including OEE, Downtime, Defects, etc.
- Takes lean and CI principles to shop floor execution
implementing standard work for sustainability
- Maintains waste reduction pipeline and cost out improvement
projects tracking. Links results to business KPI'sQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical
Engineering
- At least 2 years' of engineering experience
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
- Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing
processes and machinery
- Strong team player, builds relationships within the facility to
get things done
- Excellent analytical skills combined with good negotiation and
conflict management skills
- Results driven with a positive attitude, ability to identify
problems and resolve them quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organization and management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Benefits Summary:We offer a
