Job Description Job Description MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Position Type: Temp to Hire Position Hours: 1 st Shift: 5:00am - 3:15pm Position Salary: $25.00/Hour Position Location: Toledo, OH Position Summary: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and hand/power tools. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as conveyors, shredders, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and bearings. Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules from Express Maintenance system. Install and align new equipment according to blueprint/drawings. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine solutions using technical manuals, schematics, and personal expertise. Operate cutting, welding, and fabrication tools safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts usage via Express Maintenance platform. Collaborate with electricians, operators, and engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations. Some knowledge/experience with 480V/3 phase electrical is a plus but not required. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements according to company policy. Must be able to work well as part of a team to get task completed and/or self-manage tasks that are needing completed by yourself. Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a millwright type or industrial maintenance technician a plus but not needed Must be ok working in a dusty/dirty environment, with proper PPE provided by the company. Proficient with hand and power tools, measurement instruments, and rigging equipment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and schematics. Welding and fabrication experience a plus (MIG and Stick). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces, at heights, or in varying temperatures. Must be able to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed. IES1
