This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing company. - -The ideal candidate will have prior CFO experience in growing a business of scale. - -As a key member of our executive team, reporting to the Owner, he or she will be comfortable in a broad leadership roleandwill possess excellent listening skills combined with -the ability to speak up and know when to advise and push for necessary changes. We require the highest level of integrity, honesty, and dependability. The CFO will act as a trusted business advisor, providing strategic, financial and business leadership to significantly impact the company's financial growth. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing and controlling all financial and technology related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, credit and collections, legal, property management and compliance overall planning and organization. This role will also be responsible for directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. - -Strategy, Vision and Insight - - - - - - - -Contribute to the development of PTR's strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization - - - - - - - -Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies - - - - - - - -Advise and support senior management peers on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow and other strategic financial matters; effectively communicate and present critical financial matters - - - - - - - - -Experience negotiating credit facilities and loan covenants is required - - - - - - - - -Represent the organization externally, as necessary, particularly in banking and finance negotiations - - - - - - - -Demonstrable track record of adding value to a senior management team beyond the finance area and understanding business driversand levers. -Team Development/Leadership - - - - - - - -Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance, accounting and IT teams - - - - - - - -Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality and service, internal and external - - - - - - - -Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results, giving critical feedback along the wayOperations - - - - - - - -Develop financial strategy, assist in aligning the operational strategy and then maintaining the performance measures tied to that strategy - - - - - - - -Provide ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results - - - - - - - -Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis - - - - - - - -Oversee the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and metrics for funding organizations; prepare and communicate monthly, quarterly reforecasts and annual financial and operational metrics statements and reports - - - - - - - -Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting - - - - - - - -Responsible, either directly or by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company's financial strategy - - - - - - - -Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual operating plan and budget processes and reporting against the same - - - - - - - -Lead the team to provide accurate and timely analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the Owner senior executives in performing their responsibilities - - - - - - - -Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organizationRequired Skills - - - - - - - -15+ years' experience of senior financial management and information technology responsibility within a growth" -oriented enterprise - - - - - - - - -Proven success in executive, leadership positions - - - - - - - -Leadership skills, with the drive of an entrepreneur - - - - - - - -STRONG skills in Microsoft Suite of Products - Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus - - - - - - - -Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills - - - - - - - -Resourcefulness with a bias toward action and results - - - - - - - - -Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA, CMA and/or MBA with Public experience preferred. - - - - - - - -Ensure highly technical accounting and their related impact is understood - - - - - - - -Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and accreditation standards - - - - - - - -Can tackle stressful problems that arise with a calm demeanor - - - - - - - - -Ability to prioritize and effectively complete project-based tasks and meet deadlines - - - - - - - -Thrives in a teamwork-based environment.
