Job Description:

  • HR Strategy development and execution for the region as it pertains to Marketing Americas, and R & D.
  • Improve and further develop Talent Development and Management process
  • Employee Engagement: Proactively solicit feedback from employees at every level of the organization in an effort to develop and maintain a high performing culture. Champion the annual engagement survey and develop/implement action plans relevant to the results. Drive accountability and a healthy association to conflict. Promote company pride and overall culture with the objective of continually reducing employee turnover while enhancing overall engagement.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity as a way to accelerate business. Educate the organization on the benefits of diversity and inclusion.
  • Support organizational design and people strategy to support regional growth targets
  • HRIS/Reporting: Maintain accurate and compliant employee and reporting information in all HR systems and files including ERP system, payroll system, external employee databases like benefits and insurance, and all HR employee databases used to report and support managers and supervisors.
  • Employment Law: Stay current on state/federal employment law by participating in continuing education via seminars, industry periodicals and/or peer groups. Exercise judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies and all applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to FLSA, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, UI, WC and EEO. Ensure team meets all governmental and company reporting requirements.
  • Develops strategy and execution of recruiting, hiring, retention and separation to support business growth and financial objectives for each BU (Industrial Marketing Americas and R & D ); this includes Employer Branding and utilizing various social media outlets as well as universities and other traditional outlets.
  • Collaborates with internal and external legal counsel to ensure that Trelleborg's best interest in HR matters are considered.
  • Ensures compliance matters are investigated and recommends outcome based on findings.
  • Manages team to ensure:
    • Timely and accurate payroll
    • Timely adherence to benefit enrollment schedule
    • Wellness program, including recommendations for enhancement
    • Performance Management process is adhered too
    • Training records for employees are maintained
    • Hiring of new employees are supported for a good onboarding experience
    • Assists in the due diligence of acquisitions; ensures employee compensation and benefits are addressed smoothly per the outcome of the acquisition and timing to meet requirements; along with any other related acquisition support requirements
    • Evaluates the organization talent pool; extremely important when acquiring new companies, makes recommendations on development with local and global management.
    • Assists as necessary with employee engagement survey and output of results.
    • Provides support for Performance Management and Merit Increase in terms of calibration of ratings; works with new managers to ensure they are prepared to provide performance feedback and coaching.
    • Other tasks assignment by management to support TSS and Trelleborg Group both locally and globally.Education and Experience:Requirements:
      • 4-year degree in a Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field
      • Minimum of 10 years in HR management related discipline, with demonstrated career progression
      • Ability to travel between 25 - 50% as business needs require. This includes international travel.
      • Ability to work in a fast paced, global environment with matrix organization
      • Masters in an HR related field - preferred
      • SPHR
