Overview: ASTRAL AT AUBURNRegistered NurseFull Time -Astral at Auburn, located in Auburn, Indiana is looking for a full-time Resident Services Director to join our growing team! The Resident Services Director oversees, directly participates and performs in the daily operations of Assisted Living and Memory Support, as well as oversees the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and state mandated education program for First Aid and CPR Training for the entire Community. The position has a strong emphasis placed on maintaining quality standards, while achieving business and financial objectives, assists in creating a partnership and allegiance with the local community to ensure local needs are met. Additionally, this position assists the Executive Director in leading the management team in support of the mission and values of the organization with the goals and vision of the Community. -Essential Responsibilities: - Salary Range $75,000 - $90,000

• Responsible for achieving organizational, financial, quality, and customer service related objectives as delegated by the Executive Director.
• Oversees and assumes responsibility for daily operations of Assisted Living and Memory Support.
• Oversees hiring, supervision and performance evaluation of Assisted Living and Memory Support nursing and clinical associates.
• Provides clinical expertise, education, training and mentoring of clinical areas of responsibility by serving as a clinical role model and resource.
• Provides administrative leadership, direction and development of staff in areas of responsibility.
• Oversees training of state mandated education programs including but not limited to First Aid and CPR training for the entire Community.
• Assists in preparation, monitoring and evaluation of annual operating budgets for areas assigned. Allocates resources to carry out programs and activities under areas of responsibility including labor costs, equipment, payables and receivables in accordance with budget targets.
• Supervises and/or completes evaluations for pre-admission, admission, and ongoing evaluations in the creation and update of Resident Service Plans.
• Organizes and facilitates care conferences and maintains regular communication with families and residents. Leads, tracks, and provides follow up of residents and family concerns as well as participates in development and implementation of Resident Service Plans for areas of responsibly in response to customer survey findings.
• Serves as chair of Assisted Living CQI Committee. Oversees the planning and organization of the CQI program. Provides direction and oversight of Performance Improvement teams. Provides education, training and assistance in root-cause analysis determination as needed.
• Analyzes needs of residents for entire campus and assists through recommendation and participation helping a resident to move though the continuum of care as needed.
• Provides oversight and guidance of assigned state mandated education program including but not limited to First Aid and CPR Training for the entire a Community. Services as clinical role model and resources as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Executive Director, with the authority and responsibility for all phases of daily operations.
• Oversees the development and implementation of written policies and procedures that reflect the goals and objectives of the Community and organization.
• Attends and participates in educational workshops, seminars and meetings in order to keep abreast of current changes in health care fields, as well as maintains appropriate professional status and applicable licensure requirements. Assures that universal precautions, infection control, fire safety and sanitation practices and procedures are followed.
• The Resident Services Director also services as an active participant in daily activities, performing care activities such as assessments, medication administration, treatments, recreation engagement activities, etc.Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in applicable area of study (i.e. health care, management, nursing); Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Five (5) years relevant Assisted Living managerial experience
