Franciscan Care Center, a proud part of CHI Living Communities, is seeking a Director of Dietary to lead our dining services team. In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of our culinary operations, ensuring residents and guests receive high-quality, nutritious, and delicious meals—while staying in full compliance with state and federal guidelines.

What You'll Do:

• 
  
• Lead daily operations of the Dietary Department to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  
• Supervise, coach, and inspire a dedicated team of Cooks, Culinary Technicians, Culinary Support Staff, and Dining Attendants.
  
• Partner with our Dietitian to manage therapeutic diets and special resident needs.
  
• Assist with creative menu planning for everyday dining, events, and catering.
  
• Manage purchasing, inventory control, and food cost tracking.
  
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
  
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate department staff.
  
• Build strong relationships with residents by visiting daily and meeting with all new residents to personalize their dining experience.
  
  What We're Looking For:

  • Completion of a Dietetic Assistant's course or similar educational background.
    
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or healthcare food service.
    
  • A positive leader who thrives in a team-oriented, mission-driven environment.
    
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    
  • Commitment to regular, dependable attendance.
    
    Pay range: $65k-$70k/yr.
