PPG Call Center RN - Lead

Summary

Assumes responsibility for setting up training of new staff. Works directly with the PPG Clinical Supervisor, RN and PPG Clinical - Manager, RN to ensure effective and efficient departmental operations. Audits and leads the team in the identification of issues and resolution of flawed processes. Utilizes proactive problem-solving skills and resources to assure system improvements to eliminate Access Center errors. Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and presents a positive, caring and professional image to patients, physicians, customers and coworkers. Serves as a professional role model for the department. Must be able to communicate effectively with multiple departments and positions. This role will require 50% administrative duties and 50% calls and scheduling.

Education

Must be a graduate of a School of Nursing. Must complete general orientation.

Licensure/Certification

Must have current unrestricted Indiana (Ohio) RN license.

Experience

Minimum of five years' experience as a registered nurse. Minimum of one-year experience as an RN in a Call Center or Physician Office setting. Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft.

Other Qualifications

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to train others. Must demonstrate analytical skills necessary to research, evaluate, and identify problem areas and solutions. Must demonstrate organizational skills necessary to lead several complex issues concurrently. Knowledge of workflows and standard operating procedures and process improvement focused.
