Job Description:
IAB123Summary/ObjectiveThe Behavioral Health Clinician is
responsible for providing behavioral health services, including
therapy and casemanagement services to children, adolescents,
adults, and families under the training and supervision of
anindependently licensed clinician. This role will receive regular,
in depth clinical supervision and case review toensure appropriate
clinical training, support, and professional development
opportunities. Services may beprovided in person or via telehealth,
dependent upon client preference and clinical appropriateness.
Individual,group, or family services are provided in an assigned
treatment program, office, or community based settings(including
homes, schools, and other community settings). This role is
expected to be successful in treatment oflow to moderate acuity
cases and require more supervision if treating high acuity
cases.Essential Functions- Under supervision, the Clinician
provides behavioral health services including day treatment,
individual/family/group therapy, and case management services to
address individualized treatment needs.- Participate in
professional development opportunities including observations, team
meetings, case reviews, and trainings.- Complete comprehensive
psychosocial assessments that includes the client’s presenting
concerns, strengths, and preferences, including cultural,
religious, and ethnic background and implications for the care
plan.- Review assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans with the
clinical supervisor for feedback and training.- Help clients and
families identify needs and develop a service plan to meet those
needs.- Orient clients and families to the program, its services,
service limitations, and clients’ rights.- Involve clients and
families in treatment planning, encouraging attendance at care
conferences or with outside providers/professionals.- Attend
scheduled care conferences and identifies and interprets
psychosocial needs of clients for inclusion in the care plan.-
Complete mandatory documentation within timelines established by
applicable regulations and policies.- Mediate issues that arise
among clients, families, and staff.- Provide linkage with
appropriate community resources by maintaining knowledge of other
systems, making referrals, and identifying unmet needs (e.g.,
recreational, transportation, healthy/safety, employment, etc.)-
Provide clients and families with crisis management services as
needed.- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support
clients and coordinate care.- Develop a comprehensive discharge
plan in collaboration with clients, clients’ families,
multidisciplinary staff, and referral agencies.- Train and consult
with staff regarding psychosocial needs that encompass mental
health, development, and diversity of individual clients to
increase staff knowledge and skills.- Aid in the professional
training and development of Behavior Technicians/Qualified
Behavioral Health Specialists as needed.- Within 60 days of hire,
successful completion, and maintenance of the required physical
crisis management training(s) and certification(s) applicable to
the assigned program.- Advocate on a case, policy, and program
level.- Meet monthly requirements for billable hours as established
by the department.- Provide clinical peer chart review of charts
and documentation to ensure compliance and support quality
improvement.- Responsible for reading and following the employee
handbook and all Boundless policies and procedures.- Responsible
for completing and following all training assigned.- Attends
meetings and professional development activities as required.-
Participate in clinical supervision as required.- Adheres to
company policies and procedures in addition to regulations, laws
and other requirements fromapplicable governing bodies,
certification, licensure and/or accreditation entities, etc.- This
job operates in a professional environment, working in an assigned
treatment program or community-basedsettings, including schools,
client homes, and other community settings.Other Responsibilities-

supervisory duties.Education, Skills, Experience and Requirements-
Bachelor’s degree in social work.- Licensed through the State of
Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW),- Ability to obtain and
maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant. (Training will
be provided, if not already certified).- Valid Ohio Driver's
license and insurable driving record.- Valid driver’s license and
insurable driving record, if applicable.Competencies and
