qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Indiana! About The Position
We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a
120-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana, starting Dec 1, 2025.
This role features flexible outpatient clinic scheduling Monday
through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with call rotation every 4th or
5th week and a blend of oncology and benign hematology consults.
Job Details - Location: Indiana - Start Date: Dec 1, 2025 - LOA:
120 days - Provider Type Needed: Hematologist/Oncologist -
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM; 36 hours of ambulatory
clinic coverage per week; call rotation every 4th or 5th week (one
full week at a time); expected hospital visits for new consults on
weekdays, rounding on weekends as needed Responsibilities and
Duties - Provide consultative care for solid and liquid
malignancies, as well as benign hematology cases - Manage a
caseload consisting of approximately 70% oncology and 30%
hematology (primarily benign) - Deliver patient care in an
outpatient clinic setting and perform hospital consults as
scheduled - Participate in a call rotation, providing coverage for
one full week every 4th or 5th week - Conduct hospital rounding on
weekends as required - Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure
high-quality patient care and continuity - Maintain accurate and
timely documentation of all patient encounters Additional
Information - Indiana medical license required - Board
certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required - Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification required Benefits - Strong
