Labor & Delivery RN Job Details - Location: Fort Wayne, IN – Indiana nursing jobs - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,250 - $2,310 - Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract - Start Date: November 17, 2025 - End Date: February 16, 2026 - Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm-7am), 36 hours per week - Schedule: 3 out of 4 weekends required, no on-call - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week - Employment Type: Travel RN contract - Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state - Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience - At least 2 years of circulating C-Sections experience - BLS (AHA) certification required - ACLS (AHA) certification required - NRP certification required - STABLE certification required - Experience with EPIC Stork documentation, Centricity fetal monitoring, and Pyxis medication system preferred Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including continuous monitoring and support throughout labor and delivery - Perform nursing duties during both vaginal and cesarean (C-section) deliveries - Provide postpartum care for couplets (mother and baby) following delivery - Utilize advanced clinical equipment and electronic health record systems for accurate patient documentation and monitoring - Float between units as needed to support patient care - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Labor & Delivery RNs and nurse leaders to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 for active labor, 1:2 for early labor/induction, and 1:3 for couplet care Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
