Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in cardiac catheterization lab License: State licensed RN Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT or RCIS required Must-Have: - Cardiac cath lab experience - Electrophysiology experience - Experience with EPIC and MacLab Description: This position involves providing advanced practice in cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography. The role includes performing electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures. Registered Nurses will provide peri-procedural care and education for patients. They will assist cardiologists and other specialists in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Maintaining records and documentation for procedures is essential. The environment is fast-paced and involves high acuity cases. The facility typically sees approximately 20 patients a day across multiple labs. There are two electrophysiology labs and five cardiac catheterization labs. Structural heart procedures such as Watchman’s, TAVR, and Mitraclip are also performed. On-call duties include one weekly shift and every fourth weekend. There is potential for one holiday on-call shift.
