Job Description:
Parkview Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered
Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our dynamic team of
healthcare professionals. As an integral part of our respiratory
care department, you will provide vital respiratory therapy
services to patients in both acute and long-term settings. This
position demands a compassionate professional who is committed to
delivering exceptional care tailored to the individual needs of our
patients. Assess patient respiratory conditions through diagnostic
tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and spirometry. Develop
and implement respiratory care treatment plans. Operate and manage
devices including ventilators, CPAP units, and oxygen delivery
devices. Provide emergency care, including airway management and
cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Educate patients and their
families on lung health and respiratory treatments. Document
patient care services accurately and comprehensively. Collaborate
with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines to ensure
coordinated and comprehensive care. Participate in ongoing
professional development and education to stay current with
industry practices. Proficiency in using respiratory care equipment
and devices. Strong analytical skills to diagnose patient
conditions and interpret treatment results. Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills. Ability to handle stressful situations
with professionalism. Skilled in time management and multitasking.
Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Current state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) certifications.
