Job Description:

Fort Wayne community. We are seeking a dedicated Surgical
Technologist / Certified Surgical First Assistant / RN Scrub to
join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing expertise
and support during surgical procedures, working closely with
surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery
of safe, high-quality patient care. Prepare operating rooms for
surgery including ensuring that all necessary supplies and surgical
tools are sterile and arranged appropriately. Assist surgeons
during operations by passing instruments and other sterile
supplies. Help in the application of dressings and sutures under
the supervision of the surgeon. Ensure all specimens are secured
and sent to the laboratory for analysis. Operate and monitor
sterilization equipment. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent
infection. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to
provide comprehensive patient care during surgical procedures.
Assist with patient preparation and transport, including
positioning patients on the operating table and covering them with
sterile surgical drapes. Document all operative procedures clearly
and accurately. In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments and
operating room protocols. Ability to maintain a sterile field and
adherence to aseptic techniques. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. High level of organizational ability and
attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure
environment. Exemplary coordination skills and a collaborative
spirit. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board
of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or
equivalent. Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)
certification. Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license and
scrub experience.
