Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Obstetrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7pm-7am Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery, cervical exams, and fetal monitor interpretation License: Indiana RN License Required Certifications: BLS Required (AHA only), ACLS Required (AHA only), NRP Required Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery - Proficient in cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation Description: The position involves the care of laboring, pre-term, postpartum obstetric patients, and newborns. Responsibilities include assisting in vaginal and cesarean deliveries, as well as neonatal resuscitation. The unit utilizes EPIC for documentation, Pyxis for medication management, Hospira IV pumps, and GE Corometric fetal monitoring equipment. Candidates must be able to work the specified 7pm-7am shift.
