opportunityH1 visa candidates welcome to applyOpportunity to join
an existing combined neurology and psychiatry practice, for
primarily adult outpatient care, although other interests are
welcome. Skilled nursing facility visits and some limited inpatient
geriatric psychiatry and consultation coverage required, including
up to 1 in 3 call (extremely rare to come in from home). The
practice was founded by a recently deceased lead physician trained
in both psychiatry and neurology, and now includes one other child,
adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, an adult psychiatrist focusing
mainly on inpatient care, three neurologists, two psychiatry PAs, a
psychologist, and two social worker/therapists. Opportunity
available to participate in clinical trials. The entire practice is
hospital-employed, and is located on the hospital campus.
Educational loan forgiveness, signing bonus, and relocation
expenses available.Located 60 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA, this
independent 164-bed acute care community hospital celebrated its
100th anniversary in 2014.Nearly every specialty of medicine and
surgery is represented on the active medical staff, with the large
majority of physicians in private practice. Services include
advanced imaging with PET/CT, MRI, 64-slice CT, nuclear medicine,
cath/angio lab, and PACS; comprehensive American College of
Surgeons certified Center for Oncology Care with IMRT, IGRT, HDR
brachytherapy, mammosite treatment, prostate seed therapy and
chemotherapy; Wound Care Center with 2 hyperbaric oxygen treatment
chambers; emergency room with 39,000 visits per year and 2 Urgicare
facilities; Womens Diagnostic Imaging Center with digital
mammography, DEXA, and stereotactic biopsy; 10-bed intensive care
unit; OB unit with 650 to 700 deliveries per year; 16-bed inpatient
geriatric psychiatry unit; 16-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation
unit; total joint replacement program; comprehensive pain clinic
with advanced modalities; comprehensive sleep disorders lab and
program; advanced neurodiagnostics lab with EEG, EMG, NCS, evoked
potentials, transcranial Doppler, and therapeutic Botox clinic;
community dialysis center; 45,000 square foot Human Motion
Institute opened October 2012 on the campus; and Institutional
Review Board.For public K-12 education, the Indiana Area school
district supports 4 neighborhood elementary schools (Eisenhower
Elementary, Horace Mann, East Pike, and Ben Franklin), a junior
high school (Indiana Area Junior High School) and high school
(Indiana Area Senior High School), which are accredited and
recognized for quality. A Catholic affiliated Pre-K through grade 6
program is offered at the St. Bernard School, in addition to other
various parochial schools for different denominations.There are a
great many activities available for children and adults alike. The
university brings a large variety of cultural events to the
community, and these are increasing with the completion and opening
of a new 5,000 seat arena within sight of the medical
