ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Tele Neuro Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • 13-week assignment duration • Guaranteed 72 or 96 hours bi-weekly • Holidays and every other weekend required • Block scheduling approved • Call requirements are voluntary • Maximum of 1 week RTO (requested time off) • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Minimum 2 years of experience required • Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted) • Floating to other units is required • Navy scrub color required • Work with Cerner EMR system • Patient ratio: 1:5 or 1:6 • 24-bed unit capacity • Care for higher med-surg acuity patients with diagnoses including stroke, seizures, post-op neuro/spinal surgeries • Treat level 2 trauma patients and level 1 trauma post-ICU care • Handle other diagnoses like DKA, renal failure, and general post-op care • Expertise required in neuro assessments, critical thinking, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube management, and groin site management post-IR • Must attach required license and certifications with submission Facility: This healthcare facility features a specialized NeuroSpine Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit providing comprehensive care for patients with complex neurological conditions and surgical cases.
