Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Kalamazoo, Michigan,

Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid state license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 1 year of telemetry
experience - Ability to manage a patient ratio typically ranging
from 1:5-6, potentially up to 1:7 - Strong knowledge in cardiac
monitoring and management Description: This position is within a
54-bed cardiac telemetry unit. The unit specializes in managing
patients with heart failure, heart attacks, strokes, and other
cardiac conditions. Patients are monitored with remote telemetry as
well as on-unit supervision. The unit administers cardiac drips and
provides care for dysrhythmias, chest pain, and overflow medical
patients when necessary. The RN will be expected to work every
other weekend and be available for 2 out of 3 holidays during the
contract. Float requirements will be dependent on the current
volume and census. Candidates must be willing to work
collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including
respiratory services, physical therapy, and pharmacy. The use of
standard cardiac technology and protocols is an important aspect of
this position. Professional conduct is critical; any unprofessional
behavior or shift call-offs may result in contract termination.
Travelers must complete modules prior to starting and agree to
obtain all necessary certifications before the start of the
