Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Kalamazoo,
Michigan, 49048! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

charting system Comfortable working with patient ratios of 1:5-7
Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing
in telemetry nursing. The nurse will work in a 54-bed cardiac
telemetry unit. Patients on this unit are primarily monitored via
cardiac monitoring systems. The unit's patient population includes
those with heart failure, heart attacks, strokes requiring cardiac
monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmias. The nurse will also care for
overflow medical patients as needed. The work schedule consists of
three 12-hour night shifts per week. Weekend work is required every
other weekend. The nurse must be prepared to work 2 out of 3
holidays. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, but management
will attempt to accommodate requests. The patient-to-nurse ratio
typically ranges from 1:5 to 1:6, but may increase to 1:7 due to
call-ins. New travelers are being onboarded regularly to help
manage the workload. Certified and trained staff will manage
various cardiac procedures and conditions, including management of
cardiac drips. Professional conduct is paramount, and any issues
may lead to contract termination. The nurse should possess skills
in telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and
management of dysrhythmias. Additional skills required include
phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, and wound care.
Participants must complete required modules prior to starting the
