Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks
Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is
working with Ventura MedStaff to find a qualified PCU / Stepdown RN
in Elkhart, Indiana, 46514! Travel PCU RN is needed for 13 weeks to
start ASAP in a facility in Indiana. Shifts consist 12 hours
7-7:30. This is a busy cardiac step-down unit. Experience with
post-cardiothoracic surgery patients, cardiac arrhythmias,
pacemakers, MI required.47 beds, Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 for
days and 1:4-5 for nights. 1 year of experience is required. Types
of Patients: Cardiac, Respiratory, Neurological, Abdominal, Primary
diagnosis is Cardiac, Common Secondary Diagnoses (Renal, Diabetes,
COPD, Pneumonia, CVA/TIA, General surgical patients w/cardiac
complications), Other (Renal, Diabetics, Arterial TPA specials
patients). Equipment used: Cardiac Telemetry, PCA and Epidural Pain
Managerment, Data Dock Blook Glucose Machines, Comuterized
dispensing and charging of Narcotics (Suremed), Computerized
dispensing and charging of supplies (Omnicell). BLS and ACLS are
