Job Description:
Job Description Describes and evaluates surgical specimens and
interprets microscopic sections taken according to the procedure
manual. Interprets cytopathologic changes in genital and
extragenital specimens. Provides clinical interpretations of
laboratory tests in area of specialty. Stays abreast of the
developments in the area assigned and introduces new tests when
appropriate. Reviews QA on a timely basis and consults with manager
and techs to solve technical problems. Reviews new methods and
technology in area of interest. Monitors implementation of new
methods. Serves as consultant to physicians served by the SBMF
