Job Description Job Description This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus The 2-Surgical unit is located on the 2nd floor at Parkview Randallia. This is a 35 bed Med Surg unit with lower to moderate levels of acuity. Patient stays are short term with varieties of diagnosis including COPD, pneumonia, nursing home placements, alcohol withdraw, and drug dependency. Surgeries seen on this unit are appendectomy, cholecystectomy, gynecological, and ortho injuries. Independently plans and provides excellent professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders, established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice, Indiana Nurses Practice Act, and the ANA Code of Ethics.
