Job Description Description: McMahon's Best-One Tire & Auto Care is a family owned company that has been in business in Fort Wayne for over 50 years. Here at McMahon's Best-One, we are committed to our customers, the services we provide, our local community and to our fantastic employees. Currently, we are looking for Retail Counter Sales People to join our team. Some of the job duties include, but are not limited to, selling tires, vehicle maintenance services and preventative services to customers in person, by telephone or online. This is an hourly position with a pay range from $17-$19 an hour. We offer health insurance, 401k with match and much more. Other requirements are listed below: Customer service:Greet customers and ascertain customer needs/desires; inspect tiresAnswer telephones using McMahon's Best-One phone shop standards Obtain orders:Operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient mannerCompute sales prices, total purchases, and process paymentsMaintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment, exchanges and returns, and security practices Billing:Open and close cash registers, including counting money, balancing drawers, and making depositsGenerate computer bills Other:Clean shelves, counters, and tablesWill act as a fill-in at our other retail locations as neededMeet the requirements outlined in the company's employee handbook Requirements:High school graduate or general education degree (GED)2 years of retail related sales experience. Tire knowledge a plus!Valid driver's license; driving record must meet company's insurance requirementsAbility to learn and operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient mannerAbility to send and receive emailWorking knowledge of MS Word and Excel PI207827480
