Job Description: The Regional Information Technology (IT) Support will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and implementation of IT equipment for Multiple State Locations. The tech will provide technical support and demonstrate excellent customer service. The regional tech must be willing to travel to different locations to service our end users and computer equipment. Tech will also act as the regional IT project support. Sometimes you may need to plan for an overnight stay. Tech must also be willing to work in to Dairy Production environment when needed.
Duties:

• Installs, configures and modifies computer workstations.
• Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, etc.
• Uploads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and other applications
• Troubleshoot equipment hardware and software problems
• Perform software and hardware inventory
• Providing desk side computer hardware and software support
• Provide hardware/software technical support
• Extend computer support for systems' software and hardware
• Resolve moderately complex end-user hardware/software problems including remote access software.
• Provide end-user support for software and hardware issues
• Install software or perform hardware testing at the user's desk site
• Maintain and repair computer related hardware
• Troubleshooting computer hardware and software
• Assist or train on the software/hardware
• Coordinate repairs on technology hardware
• Research and resolve technical problems for both hardware and software issues
• Analyze, identify and resolve technical problems
• Provide recommendations of program changes to correct software problems
• Assist in preparation and conducting of physical inventories
• Maintain specific quality records to ensure standards
• Resolve PC hardware/software, printers, and network related problems
• Provide some desk side technical support for hardware and software
• Manage and deployment and support of filed network systems
• Requires travel Knowledge Requirements:
  • An AA Degree of Certificate in Information Technology from a technical school or University or work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in supporting an IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft operation systems (including MS Office Suite), PC Hardware and working with printers, scanners, internet routers, etc.
  • A+ Certification and Network + certification and CCNA Certification are a plus
  • Technical knowledge of telecommunications, network and PC operating systems and current network hardware protocols.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
