day? We’re hiring Mill Machine Operators for a premier orthopedic
implant manufacturer in Fort Wayne, IN. These are Direct Hire
positions — meaning you’ll be hired directly by our client and
become a key part of their growing team. What’s in it for you?
Direct Hire – Join the team as a permanent employee from day one
Flexible 2nd and 3rd Shift Options: 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm 3rd shift:
11pm – 7am (Sunday–Thursday) Competitive Pay: Ranging between
$25.30-$30.80/hr. based on experience (including shift premium).

You’ll Be Doing: Operate and maintain milling machines with a focus
on quality and safety Inspect parts throughout the process to
ensure they meet specs Set up workpieces using sine bars, chucks,
and fixtures Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
Follow quality procedures (ISO 13485, FDA, OSHA standards) Lift up
to 35 lbs occasionally and stand for 6 hours per shift Work
overtime as needed to meet delivery goals What We’re Looking For:
Previous Mill CNC operation experience Must have 5-axis machining
experience Strong background in mill machining Skilled with
precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, sine bars)
Solid math skills: geometry/trig knowledge preferred Understanding
of steel alloys and machining properties At Apex, we actively
