Job Description:

Description We seek a CMO candidate who is passionate for their profession and has great knowledge for all things marketing and sales. This person will balance a practical mindset with a creative business acumen and lead people through complex marketing operations. The goal is to ensure the organization’s marketing, communications and business development efforts are successful in helping it outperform competition.

Responsibilities

Review and stay current of market trends and direct the market research efforts of the company

Coordinate with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands

Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and growth objectives, including business development/service sales, digital marketing and PR/Advertising campaigns.

Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and facilitate implementation including goal-setting and outcome achievement

Make key decisions regarding, budgeting, branding, and sales.

Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (service promotion, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”

Build a highly efficient team of marketing & communications professionals

Create a solid network of strategic partnerships

Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the executive team

Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives

Evaluation and guidance to the administrative activities to ensure maximization of profitability and efficiency.

Design and responsibly manage the marketing, communications and business development department budgets.

Performs other duties s assigned.

Requirements:

Proven experience as  Chief Marketing Officer or similar role

Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, promotion of services etc.)

Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods

Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels

Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)

Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g. CRM)

A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities

Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities

Bachelors in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field; Master’s preferred

Education Required

Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.

Preferred

Masters or better in Business Administration or related field.
