Requirements:--- Must have direct, tier one automotive experience. --- Seven years of sales experience and five years of management preferred.--- Located anywhere in the United StatesESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:--- Provides strategic direction and develops Magnet Wire Direct Sales activities and programs, including pricing. Maintains effective communications with peer executives and managers across the Division to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of manufacturing field operations. Recommends policy changes to encourage maximum sales activity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Oversees development of marketing strategies and execution of business plan, including definition of new markets, branding initiatives and pricing. --- Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. --- Develops the sales plan to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the organization. --- Ensures maximum sales volume of Magnet Wire products. --- Provides strategic leadership and support for all aspects of the Account Executive and Regional Sales functions.--- Provides strategic market insights into product development process and maximizes revenue sources.--- Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors. --- Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, color, and packaging.--- Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.--- Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections. --- Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.--- Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. --- Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand. --- Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services. --- Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of sales staff and oversee their daily activities. --- Select products and accessories to be displayed at trade or special production shows. --- Advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services. --- Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for targeted sales efforts.SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:--- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse business community. Must be a team-focused individual as exhibited in actions and approach to engaging multiple groups (internal and external) interacting with this position.--- Must be flexible in a dynamic environment to change practices or procedures in order to deliver optimum performance. Highest level of accountability is required to determine impact / value of online training modules and continuing education.--- Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology. Comprehensive understanding and practical application of instructional design methodologies and project management skills required.--- Processes organizing and coordinating skills.
