PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
This position is responsible for controlling and leading all
design changes and development for the activities associated with
the Engineering changes management for current production programs.
Ensuring the drawings administrative control, general control for
all specifications in order to meets the customer's expectations
according engineering requirements, support for all prototype
activity for engineering changes. This position also specifies and
is involved in the XPPS system and procures for all current and new
products and all components for all KTNA products.
NORMAL FUNCTIONAL TASKS:
Interface with Program Manager and customer engineering to
establish design goals and make design recommendations for assigned
programs. Establish and document other customer design
Work with KTNA Designer to have control in design drawings using
either customer-generated or KTNA-generated math data. To have
control in the product design in order to meet all customer

Work with Manufacturing Engineer to incorporate Engineering
changes on production tooling having control on equipment
specifications. Transfer knowledge of lessons learned through
prototype builds to Program Manager for application to production
tooling and equipment.
Participate, DFMEA, DFMA, DVP&R, control plans and other
applicable APQP documentation at the direction of the Program
Manager. Participate in APQP core team meetings.
Coordinate distribution, communication and implementation of all
engineering changes in accordance with KTNA procedures.
To participate control about the product validation testing as
Responsible for the design control, keep records for all
prototype tooling (molds, gages, fixtures, etc.).
Responsible for the control design, procurement, and prove-out
of all prototype components (valves, tubing, hoses, etc).
Support prototype manufacturing groups to supply prototype parts
/ assemblies to the customer's satisfaction.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned for the Engineering
Bachelor's degree, Industrial Engineering preferred
SAP experience preferred
