There can be some flexibility with the schedule, as far as the daily schedule if needed.Marketing Coordinator RoleThe Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in executing and supporting all marketing efforts. Duties include project scheduling, graphic design, digital channel management, creating email blasts, website maintenance, marketing analytics. This role will work with VP of Marketing, assisting the marketing team, and other business units within the credit union, along with outside vendors to develop effective marketing objectives.Major Duties and Responsibilities35% Adheres to annual marketing plan and budget while coordinating the development of the company's promotions and special events.30% Coordinates print and digital marketing activity, while taking lead on email blasts and website maintenance.10% Collaborates with VP of Marketing and team to propose, and implement strategic initiatives designed to meet the credit union's short and long-term marketing objectives.10% Conducts market research and recommends product/service modifications or improvements.10% Works with sponsor group(s); promotes credit union to employees and works with sponsor to maintain a positive relationship.5% Performs other related duties as assigned. - Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Requirements:
ExperienceTwo to five years of similar or related experience, one to three years Graphic Design experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.Education/Certifications/LicensesA college degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.Interpersonal SkillsA significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.Physical RequirementsPerform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must by capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Working ConditionsMust be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise. Mental and/or Emotional RequirementsMust be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.
