data.OVERVIEWAs we continuously evolve the role of technology and
automation in our business, we will rely on our Lead Engineers to
bring expert-level knowledge of computer languages, frameworks,
tools, and practices together with a strong understanding of our
business and our industry to create systems and system
architectures that enable and speed that evolution. They will
represent their teams in multi-team architecture efforts, and they
will provide technical leadership and design leadership within
their teams or areas of responsibility.Part of our three year
strategy plan we are investing in digital transformation and new
technology. Our vision is for Profiles to be recognized as the
global authority for high quality recurring panel needs. Part of
this is to develop an unique combination of best in class community
management, sample monetization and commercial excellence (Superior
Delivery Engine). The Superior Delivery Engine (SDE) is driving
best-in-class class management of our panelist community and market
leading monetization of our sample. Therefor we are currently
recruiting two new teams within the technology department for the
Profiles division. SDE is an umbrella for the programmer where we
build a plethora of smarter tools and algorithms; f.e. smarter
targeting, smarter screening, cleaner data, new mobile app, sample
blending tolls, panel management tools and more will be developed
in the future. Team SDE will be responsible for this overall
program and for building the tools/algorithms that the business
needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in architecting, design,
development, implementation of complex applications and core
utilitiesCollaborate with divisional architects, lead engineers and
other senior engineers to set architectural standards for the
divisionUnderstand governing security and compliance policies and
ensure applications are designed with security and compliance from
the beginningProvide a level of mentorship to team members,
including outsourced resourcesAbility to develop business domain
expertise and provide technical support to SMEs in that business
domainAssist in coordinating design efforts that span multiple
business domains Ensure systems comply with corporate policies and
professional standards for security, data integrity,
performanceAssess emerging software technologies and identify
opportunities to exploit them for the businessProactively ensure
consistent, well documented, and flexible APIs at the system and
sub-system levelKnow and champion best practices in many areas of
software engineering (security, testability, reliability,
scalability)Assist in helping QA to develop quality and performance
monitoring programs for specific systems, sub-systems, and
componentsDrive automated test coveragePromote and influence design
for re-use and change management with an emphasis on anticipation
of business changes in a subject area domain and perform code
reviews to ensure the sameDesign and evolve data persistence
strategies according to business needsCAPABILITIES AND
EXPERIENCECommitted to treating all team members with respect at
all timesSenior level knowledge with .Net Core, C language and
Restful API design/implementationExperience with Cloud based
platforms such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft AzureExperience with
Microsoft SQL, other RDBMS environments and familiarity with No-SQL
data solutionsExperience with Agile SDLC methodologies and
practices.Experience with version control using tools such as
Git/GitHubExperience with CI/CD methodologies and tools such as AWS
CodePipeline and MS DevOpsDesired familiarity with provisioning
tools such as AWS CloudFormation, MS Azure Resource Manager or
TerraformMust have the ability to communicate and operate with
globally distributed teams that could include internal as well as
external offshore resources.Strong understanding of
maintainable/testable code through usage of common programming
design patterns and principals.Excellent understanding common
