Job Id:1525 # of Openings:1 Role Description:
The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for the management
and implementation of CI strategies throughout Do it Best Corp
including, but not limited to, process and workflow improvements,
strategic initiatives, new programs, and resource analysis.
Travel: 25% required
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and
cost reduction
Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events using
CI tools
Teach, lead, and coach cross-functional teams on CI tools and
methodology
Work to improve processes both at the corporate level and at the
Retail Service Centers.
Specify obstacles and ways to overcome them through continuous
improvement
Regularly monitor the implementation of solutions to achieve
objectives and expected benefits
Education and Experience:
Minimum:
4 year degree or equivalent work experience with continuous
improvement tools
3-5 years of experience improving business processes and creative
project completion
Experience working with variety of internal employee and external
relationships
Comfortable working in small collaborative team and large training
environments
Familiar with team collaboration tools and project management
Preferred:
IE or organizational improvement experience
Skills, Abilities, and attributes:
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and
collaboration skills with people at all levels of the
enterprise.
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, resilient and curious with a
passion for continuous improvement
Analytical techniques with modeling, mapping, diagramming,
analyzing, charting, benchmarking
Securing employee commitment for proactive change management
Capable of preparing a clear and well-articulated implementation
plan
Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Collaboration techniques and ability to make persuasive
arguments
Confident in conflict and change management
Teaching users & supporting effective training
Practices servant leadership
