We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor for our Huntington, Indiana Plant.Summary: Role confirms and records the receipt of shipments and prepares items for shipping and receiving and responsible for managing the inter-departmental transport of materials.Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise the Shipping/Receiving areas including personnel.
• Understands performance analysis and operational impacts.
• Communicates and creates training, gathers feedback and recommends operational adjustments.
• Works across functional lines to research and understand operational impacts and solutions that benefit the company.
• Builds strong business partnerships and collaborates with customers, peers and management.
• Demonstrates logical and systematic thinking skills.
• Utilizes creative methods to generate results and foster teamwork.
• Strong commitment to ongoing personal development.
• Commitment to uphold all safety standards.
• Ability to be able to work overtime as necessary.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent education combined with experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Ford shipping systems preferred.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a plant environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess the energy and drive to meet deadlines, accomplish goals and find solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills where output data is actionable and accurate, problem solving and strict attention to detail.
