Position Summary:The Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN is looking for an experienced industrial electrician. A Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 3-5 years industrial experience is preferred. Must be safety conscious must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and 2nd / 3rd shift. Excellent benefits that start on day one. Starting pay is $27.55, full payrate after meeting skill qualifications and education requirements is $27.93 - $29.26. Come join a team that puts safety first every day!Core Functions:Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic testing equipmentInstalls power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as conveyors and programmable controllers, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage testerInstalls power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as conveyors, and programmable controllers, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage testerConnects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, using hand tools and test equipmentDiagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixutures, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand toolsTests malfunctioning machinery, using test equipment, and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workersReplaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices, using hand toolsOperates equipment equipped with programmable controllers to program automated machinery, such as robots and automated machinery.
