Sanitation SupervisorThe duties and responsibilities of the Sanitation Supervisor will include:Manages plant personnelResponsible for following and upholding all safety policies and procedures established for the facilityCarries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable lawsResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsPrioritizes food quality and maintains food safety, through the vigilant application of company SSOPs, GMPs and the master sanitation scheduleUnderstands chemical usage, chemical titration, and chemical safetyUnderstands goals, yields, variances and calculationsThird Shift Position 6PM
6AM (2*2*3 Schedule)Technical Qualifications:Understands basic bacteriologyKnowledge of food compliance regulations in conjunction with USDA regulationsKnowledge of chemical safetyUnderstands ordering of supplies based on future needsAbility to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general publicAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumeAbility to yields, productivity and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometryAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formBasic computer skills, Word and ExcelMust be able to work Third Shift 6PM
