Job Description:

The Floater position involves filling in temporarily to help our evening cleaning teams at office buildings mostly around Carmel when someone is scheduled to be away or as needed. This person will be responding to requests from management to fill roles and perform a range of cleaning tasks. The pay is $15.50/hour, and the employee will receive a cell phone reimbursement of $23.07/per pay. If this person is successful as a Floater, there is potential opportunity as an Evening Supervisor. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish.The expectations of a Floater to be successful at Marquis are as follows:Be willing to work a varying schedule or shift as requested by management. The evening shift schedule may vary based on the needs of the accounts, but typically involves working 4-6 hours, but all shifts vary from 5-11pm, Monday through FridayAble to lift 10 to 50 pounds, and must be able to continuously stand, walk, bend, and lift for an entire shift, up to 6 hoursEffectively communicate with coworkers, account personnel and Marquis management via phone call, text, and emailRespond to calls, texts and/or emails on a timely manner (and provide information to managers on key issues)Grow and learn new processes and protocols in the cleaning industryManage your time and attendance through Paylocity's mobile applicationFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipmentPerform a wide variety of cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, spot cleaning and any other task assigned by the managerEmpty trash from all trash receptaclesClean and sterilize restroom facilitiesStock supplies upon delivery and keep supplies organizedMaintain equipment assigned in proper working conditionAdapt to changing policies, procedures, and/or duties as directed by managementPersonal Appearance and Hygiene/Uniform Policy:You are expected to use good judgment in the maintenance of your personal hygiene and professional wardrobeMust wear company shirt or lanyard dailyPI67340a657731-25660-37374327
