JOB DESCRIPTION Founded in 1986, Jobsite Supply, Inc. provides supplies and services to the concrete construction industry and is looking for an individual who can assist in a new branch startup in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position will provide Sales, Rental and Customer Support to both internal and external customers, as well as, operate the showroom and warehouse to ensure delivery outcomes are met. The goal is to build business continuity and to increase profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction at our new location. CUSTOMER SUPPORT & SALES COUNTER RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Customer Service to walk-in, call-in and will call customers for products and rental. These tasks include: Enter sales and rental orders and process returns Provide product selection assistance, stock availability and price quotations Process payments via cash, credit card or customer account Expedite and manage open orders Collect Inquiry and Preliminary information from new and existing customers Develop and utilize exceptional product knowledge SHOWROOM RESPONSIBILITIES Provide optimal selling opportunities by maintaining sales showroom to include: Keep consistent optimal stock levels of all products Update and reconfigure displays as necessary Seasonally shift products to promote current products Keep up on cleanliness and organization of all areas WAREHOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES Follow quality service standards and comply with rules, regulations and procedures Schedule, prepare and complete orders for delivery/pick up (load, pack, wrap & label) Receive, process and stock products (pick, unload, label and store) Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles Report discrepancies Special projects as assigned. DELIVERY DRIVER Safely operate a delivery truck. Prepare truck for operation with an inspection of the general condition of the vehicle to ensure safe operation. Deliver products to our customers in a timely manner. Majority of deliveries will be within 100 mile radius of Fort Wayne. Reviews and confirms all shipments against corresponding delivery tickets. Secures all loads for transport and assists in loading shipments. Load/unload materials at delivery/pickup locations as required. Provide great service to our customers by communicating and resolving complaints and ensuring proper items are delivered/picked up. Complete all required paperwork confirming deliveries and pick-ups, as well as documenting any issues. Communicate and cooperate with appropriate coworkers, supervisors and sales personnel regarding customer needs and project status and specifics. Perform other tasks (picking orders, pulling will call orders, steel/color production, facility clean up) as requested. REQUIREMENTS* Knowledge of construction supply products such as tools, equipment, safety products and concrete accessories preferred Knowledge of modern warehousing methods and practice Forklift certification or willing to obtain certification Knowledge of an ERP management system, such as INFOR Profit 21 helpful High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Strong customer service and communication skills Multi-tasking and time management skills Work overtime as needed, especially during high, seasonal volumes WORK ENVIRONMENT Office and warehouse settings Standing for extended periods of time Regular lifting of heavy objects up to 75lbs Some travel may be required.
