Family-owned and -operated since 1964, TFE provides high-quality Fluid Power and Power Transmission products to northeast and central Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. TFE is a growing company with emphasis on quality products and service for the OEM customer and the end user. We are looking for an experienced production manager to oversee manufacturing and distribution operations to achieve the highest quality for our customers while meeting delivery commitments. This manager would develop and implement processes to achieve efficiencies while reducing costs. Essential Functions

• Helping to achieve production goals by managing all aspects of a production line.
• Managing and improving all aspects of safety, quality, and production.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, through leading and organizing production.
• Managing labor to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Achieving production goals by managing all aspects of a production line in accordance with defined processes.
• Coordinating between departments to maintain and enhance production flow.
• Develop and implement plans regarding capacity, materials, labor requirements and cost reduction.
• Control workflow to achieve production objectives in quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain and implement training for employees.
• Maintenance and administration of production systems and equipment.
• Maintain safe, orderly and clean facilities.
• Initiate and drive Lean initiatives along with continuous improvement throughout all processes.
• Analyze, contain, define, and correct product or process challenges.
• Review, approve, and adjust time clock activity for production staff.
• Complete reports and projects within identified deadlines.
• Complete and deliver performance feedback for production staff.
