Job Description:

The Ultra manufacturing function is responsible for the manufacture, integration and test of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.We are recruiting for Assembly Operators to join our Production workforce building a diversified set of products for use in military applications.Assemble parts and components into sub-assemblies and final products per defined work instructions.Test assembled products using semi-automatic test equipment.Assembly work involves some manual processes, and the use of a variety of hand tools and semi-automatic assembly equipment.Work as a contributing team member either on the assembly line or in a manufacturing cell setting.May require basic soldering operations.Record and report quality tracking metrics for non-conformances or defects.Follow all plant safety protocols and personal protection equipment requirements.Meet quality and production standards.Perform some lifting up to 40lbs.Position may require standing for duration of the shift.Position reports to Area Team Leader.Production hours are Mon -Fri 4:30pm - 12:30 am; overtime may be required.Required Skills:HS diploma or GED requiredWilling to pass background check and drug screeningWilling to pass color vision screeningThis position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.Desired Skills:Previous manufacturing/assembly experience - preferredGood manual dexterity for assemblyGood communication skills (verbal and written)Basic computer skillsPrevious soldering experience - preferredPhysical Requirements:Perform some lifting up to 40 lbsPosition may require standing for duration of the shift.Normal color visionWe offer medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, health savings accounts, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with a Company match.This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-741.5(a).
