Requirements

Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:
Drive and operate tracktors with 53 dry van trailers--Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.Pre-inspect truck and trailer.Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.Complete and verify paperwork for accuracyUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledgePallet jack experience preferredAble to pass random drug testsGood driving recordNo DUI/DWI convictions in the past 3 yearsListening and verbal communication skillsDependability
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentCDL - Class A--Certificate from an accredited CDL school23 years or olderHAZMAT and Tanker endorsements (OPTIONAL)At least six months of OTR experience
