The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will perform a wide range of procedures following standard instructions to complete shipping papers, pack, label, address, and load on appropriately selected method of shipping.Employees will be expected to actively support and strive to meet the strategic goals set by yourself, the facility, and Danfoss Power Solutions.*New Hires may be required to train on the 1st Shift which may take several weeks depending on the position and how quickly someone can meet the Individual Training Standards before being permanently assigned FT to this shift.Employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of employment which include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, annual bonus program, paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents. We pride ourselves on growing our human potential and encouraging career growth within our facilities.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.Receive raw materials and other purchased goods, review packing slip for proper quantities and submit for proper documentation processing.Deliver goods to proper locations after completion of the receiving process. Operate various workstations to process outbound shipments. Complete all required transactions in SAP.Complete shipping papers correctly, including export documents. Recognize unusual conditions and report to appropriate Supervisor and/or Lead.Operate forklift, load, and unload trucks for best methods of shipment. Become cross trained to perform many types of tasks. May be required to perform other duties as required by Supervisor.Must practice excellent housekeeping skills and maintain equipment.
