McMahon's Best-One Tire & Auto Care is a family owned company that has been in business in Fort Wayne for over 50 years. Here at McMahon's Best-One, we are committed to our customers, the services we provide, our local community and to our fantastic employees.
Currently, we are looking for Retail Counter Sales People to join our team. Some of the job duties include, but are not limited to, selling tires, vehicle maintenance services and preventative services to customers in person, by telephone or online. Other requirements are listed below:
Customer service:

• Greet customers and ascertain customer needs/desires; inspect tires
• Answer telephones using McMahon's Best-One phone shop standardsObtain orders:
  • Operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Compute sales prices, total purchases, and process payments
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment, exchanges and returns, and security practicesBilling:
    • Open and close cash registers, including counting money, balancing drawers, and making deposits
    • Generate computer billsOther:
      • Clean shelves, counters, and tables
      • Will act as a fill-in at our other retail locations as needed
      • Meet the requirements outlined in the company's employee handbook
        
        
        Requirements:
        
        • High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
        • 2 years of retail related sales experience. Tire knowledge a plus!
        • Valid driver's license; driving record must meet company's insurance requirements
        • Ability to learn and operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient manner
        • Ability to send and receive email
        • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
