New 2019 Graduate - Sales & Marketing

Position Description

  • Develop skills as a Sales & Marketing Professional as part of a structured rotational program.
  • Learn position in the Marketing or Sales for at least 12 months in each role. The goal would be to relocate this individual to other markets as assigned.
  • Learn to meet goals by clearly communicating our vision and direction - Internally, within Teams and to the Customer.
  • Learn how to present the LNCA Branding message. Sales
    • Assist with regular in person meetings with key contacts at specific accounts to measure progress and make improvements to strategy, implementation and execution where necessary.
    • Learn how to work with LNCA teams and collaborate with other LNCA Territory Representation when identifying additional LNCA opportunities.
    • Assist with providing a solution-based service for the installer community which would include LNCA Productivity and Upsell Strategies on a daily basis for every project opportunity. Marketing
      • Role may include Marketing communications, Product Marketing or Distribution Marketing.
      • Develop a clear understanding of market conditions, territory opportunities and competition.
      • Become very knowledgeable of Customer Service, Pricing and Technical Support functions for the business.
      • Learn how to develop a marketing plan.
      • Understand new product life cycle. Qualifications Education: BS in Industrial Distribution or Marketing and/or other business related degree. MBA is a plus. Experience: Proven work ethic & commitment to being mobile to other assignments in the US as needed.Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
        • Proven ability to collaborate with Multiple Brands and position cohesive message to Accounts.
        • Develop strong analytical and problem solving skills.
        • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
        • Learn how to us Customer tools & become proficient in SalesForce.com.
        • Good written and verbal communications skills to multiple audiences.
        • Strong presentation skills - both creating content and delivering message.
        • Ability to get things done utilizing individual and team strengths.
        • A willingness and ability to work across organizational boundaries.
        • Must have strong analytical skills and proven ability to effectively conduct in-depth research, identify trends and summarize information on a variety of subjects. Learn and develop as a Sales & Marketing Professional by rotating through Sales and Marketing positions within a 2-year period. This position will be responsible for gathering and analyzing relevant competitive information used to maintain and develop competitive profiles for key competitors as input to corporate decision making.Associates must complete at least two 6-month rotations in marketing and an additional 12 months in field sales. The Marketing roles may include Marketing Communications, Product Marketing or Distribution Marketing. Upon completion of the 2-year assignment, the associate will be assigned as openings occur in Sales or Marketing at any Legrand location.
