Marvin, a leader in crafting custom windows and doors, seeks a Technical Communications Manager to elevate our communication strategies, ensuring they meet the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness. This role will work closely with various departments including engineering, product development, and marketing to convey complex technical information in accessible and engaging ways. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand's presence and reputation by delivering top-tier technical content both internally and externally. Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for technical information related to Marvin's products. Collaborate with technical teams to gather accurate product and technical data for documentation. Create, maintain, and update manuals, FAQs, product specifications, and training materials. Manage the technical communications team, setting objectives and reviewing performance to ensure high-quality content creation. Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align technical documents and promotional materials, ensuring consistency and brand integrity. Oversee the creation and dissemination of press releases and media kits that highlight new technological advancements or product launches. Conduct regular needs assessments to continuously improve technical communication tools and practices. Ensure all technical documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Strong technical writing and communication skills Experience with technical documentation software tools Ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly language Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite Solid understanding of SEO principles and online content strategy Excellent leadership and team management skills Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the Society for Technical Communication (STC) is highly desirable Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
